About MeHi! My name is Jennifer Richardson. In my professional role, I collaborate with faculty, instructional designers, project managers, and assessment teams to ensure the academic quality of Ashford University's online graduate and undergraduate coursework. I review and edit courses for grammar, clarity, consistency, formatting, alignment, context, universal design, and Quality Matters (QM) standards. I also support the needs of academics, corporate leadership, and university services units by creating and editing documents related to program review, policy and implementation, course development, instructional design learning objects, newsletters, and training materials that reflect APA and departmental style guidelines.
I live in San Diego, CA with my son, Casey, who is a musician, videographer, photographer, website designer, and founder of an independent clothing line. Clearly, he is more of an artist than i will ever be, but I like to think I give it a good shot and have truly enjoyed my learning experiences thus far in Walden's MS-IDT program.
